Connecting cables
Abloy, Effeff
Connecting cable for standard strikes: if pre-installed during door manufacture, a connecting cable makes fitting easier. There is no need to rework the frame in possibly unfavourable installation conditions.
The connecting cable can be wired to the junction box, through ductwork, for instance, or directly to the controls on the access control or the intercom.
Advice: In the case of access control or intercom, door strikes always have to be connected to the control device or distributor in secured areas. Otherwise, if directly connected to exterior devices, the door can be opened by opening the exterior device and putting the cable of the strike under current.
