This security lock with handle control 709X is used especially in situations where the advantages of handle-controlled unlocking have to be combined with the mechanical security level of the lock models 309X and 409X. Thanks to the bulit-in monitoring contacts the status of the lock is provided.

Full-leaf models with standard backset for full-leaf wooden and metal doors.
These locks feature a split follower and therefore require a handle-handle fitting (handle or panic bar on the inside and handle on the outside).
The lock can be actuated by a card reader, code lock, timer switch, keypad, etc.

The bolt can be retracted with an engaged handle, the blocked double action latch can be released. When the door is closed, the control latch together with the pre-tensioned cross control ensures that the bolt is fully extended and the double action latch is blocked which improves the level of security obtained.

With panic function. The panic side settings and selecting between fail-locked and fail-unlocked can be performed on the lock as required.
