Hold-open 222 electric strikes
Sliding door electric strikes are water resistant, so they are also suitable for outdoor use. With roofless facilities, where rain and snow can directly contact the lock, we suggest the use of a heating foil as an accessory, which effectively prevents icing.
Effeff sliding door strikes and hook bolt mortise locks were functionally and technically adapted to each other.
Hold-open operation.
The latch bolt controlled locking pin in the centre of the electric strike latch keeps the electric strike unlocked until the door is opened, even after contact has been made.
When using a different type of hook mortise lock, the following must be observed:
- The rotating point of the hook bolt has to be in a deep position.
- The hook bolt must be easily movable upwards.
- The position of the hook bolt must not be visible from the outside. The cylinder has the sole function of elevating the hook bolt.
- Only the hook bolt should be adjusted, not the latch bolt of the strike.
