When operating electric strikes with alternating current, a typical buzzing tone is to be heard. This tone is disturbing with strikes that are permanently under current (those with electronic unlocking (eE), or continuous duty (100% ED)).

If you are connecting the 1005-10 bridge rectifier between the strike and the AC power supply, there will be no such sound. The electric strike will be soundless under current.
Naturally the rectifier can also be used with standard coil strikes, if you do not want the buzzing tone to be heard even for a short period.

Current max 10 sec: 1.4 A. Continuous 0.5 A.

Advice: Can also be used with effeff 809/819 mortise locks and electric magnets.
